This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines the procedures and policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when using the Pickup Control service, software application, and website (collectively, the “Service”) offered by Eagle IT Solutions, LLC (hereafter referred to as the “Company”). This Policy is an integral part of the End User License Agreement (“EULA”) between you and the Company and will prevail in case of any discrepancy between the EULA and this Policy. The Company reserves the right to update this Policy at its discretion.

This Policy covers information gathered through your interactions with the Service, including the website pickupcontrol.com (the “Website”) and the Scanner app alongside Pickup Control mobile apps. Any information collected outside of this Service is not within the purview of this Policy. The Service may contain external links over which the Company has no control and is not responsible for their privacy practices. It is recommended to review the privacy policies of any external websites visited.

  3. Information Retention. Your Information is retained for as long as your account is active or as needed for providing the Service. Post account cancellation, Information deletion starts after 30 days. However, some Information may be retained to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. Pickup data retention lasts only 24 hours before erasure.
  4. Your Choices. Access to the Website and the Service is possible without providing personal data, but some data may be automatically collected. The Service requires certain personal data, and any questions via the Website may also require personal data. You have rights regarding your Information, including modification, access, exportation, and deletion. Please contact us to exercise these rights.

This plan includes immediate steps to minimize the impact of the breach, beginning with identification and containment. We are committed to mitigating potential harm by promptly addressing the issue and rectifying security vulnerabilities. Upon confirmation of a data breach, we will promptly notify the designated Pickup Control Administrator, typically within 24 hours. This notification will provide all available details concerning the breach. We will collaborate extensively with the Pickup Control Administrator to develop an action plan, which may include notifying affected individuals and implementing measures to prevent future breaches. The company will fulfill all obligations required by applicable laws and regulations regarding such breaches.
  12. Child Privacy Protection. Our Service is strictly designed for use by adults aged 18 and above. We prohibit usage by children under the age of 18, as outlined in our EULA. We are committed to safeguarding children’s privacy and do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
  13. FERPA Compliance: Eagle IT Solutions, LLC aligns its operations with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), a federal legislation that manages the privacy of student records for schools and educational institutions receiving aid from the U.S. Department of Education. We only receive personal information from participating schools required for providing the Service. As a contractor for these schools, we operate under the same conditions for use and redisclosure of educational records as school officials, ensuring stringent privacy standards. Our Privacy Policy is designed to be in full compliance with our obligations under FERPA. This commitment reflects our dedication to uphold the privacy rights of students, enforcing strict protocols to ensure the confidentiality and security of student information. In any event where there might be a discrepancy between this Privacy Policy and FERPA, the provisions of FERPA will always supersede.
